The horizontal MagHolder for M&P SHIELD pistols is here. Compatible with 9mm and 40cal magazines, either flush fit or extended. Configurable options include Left or Right orientation, referring to which hand you will use to grab your spare magazine. Typically, the shooter reaches for their spare mag with the support hand, sweeping it out of the MagHolder either to the rear from the weak side, or from across the front midline in a crossdraw motion. Both positions are extremely fast but the crossdraw position allows access to the magazine from a sitting position, such as in a vehicle or theater seat. The Magholder is made in the USA and helps users conceal easier their spare magazine with the horizontal mag pouch.

****A note on the Shield MagHolder: this Magholder uses a friction fit to secure the magazine, instead of the "click lock" retention of other MagHolder models. What this means is that your magazines will start off tight in the MagHolder then settle to optimum fit over the first 3-4 days the magazine is inserted. The MagHolder will relax to accommodate your specific magazine(s). There is suprising variation in the dimensions of magazines, so the MagHolder is designed to fit the smallest sample we have observed and relax to fit the largest sample we've seen over time. The material, reinforcing fibers, and post processing were optimized to achieve this. Thanks for understanding this before ordering.

The Magholder can be worn in whatever fashion best fits for your style. See below for our recommendations.

Left Hand Version

The left hand version is designed to be worn on the left hand side with the magazine being pulled to the rear. It can also be worn on the right side and the magazine pulled to the front. See image.

Right Hand Version

The right hand version is designed to be worn on the right hand side with the magazine being pulled to the rear. It can also be worn on the left side and the magazine pulled to the front. See image.

If you are a right handed shooter, you will likely grab your spare mag with your left hand, and thus, use the "L" version MagHolder.

If you are left handed, the opposite applies, or the "R" version.
